Campground open April 1st - October 31st each year (closed Nov. 1st - March 31st) New Lodge House / Hostel open year round Family friendly, pets, and groups very welcome. Small RV's and Pop-Up's welcome.
Campground Quiet Hours: Please refrain from unnecessary noise and disturbances in the campground from 11:00pm to 8:00am. This includes keeping voices low when passing by campsites and cabins, not playing loud music, and keeping down conversations around late night campfires. Thank you. Go back to menu
Bathroom Facilities / Showers / Water / Electricity / Laundry:
Bathroom Facilities Bathroom facilities consist of port-a-potties which are cleaned and sanitized professionally each Tuesday.
Showers Separate men's and women's shower house with sinks and hot water are on-line and operational.
Please use environmentally friendly soaps and shampoos. See link on homepage for details / photos.
Electricity is available outside of the first cabin and will be extended to the 2nd cabin and at points along the road by Summer 2008.
County water is available at a pump (lift lever to open water) located at the first cabin and will be extended to the 2nd cabin area and at points along the
road by Summer 2008.. Help yourself and be sure to push the handle down to the off position when finished filling containers.
Laundry is available at the new Lodge House at Abram's Creek. $3.00 buys one large load in the washer and use of the dryer until clothes are dry --
also includes use of our bio-degradable, eco-friendly laundry detergent. Payable at Registration desk inside lodge.
Parking / Roads:Roads have just recently been expanded to include the ability to drive nearly anywhere in the campground, inlcuding to parking spaces located at most campsites (except those down by the Community Bon-Fire area).
Handicap Access: Most Campsites and the cabins and tipi's are handicamp accessible as vehciles can now park at most sites.
RV's and Pop-Up Campers: 7 campsites just off of the main road will have sufficient space for small RV's and pull in Pop-Up Campers (campsites #23, 33, 34, 36, 37, 39, 40 and Tipi #2); however, no larger RV's or large trailers will be accomodated anytime soon. A couple of small RV's could also be parked in the main parking area -- do call ahead. No electric, water, or septic hook-ups. For a complete list and description of all campsites click here.
Firewood Policy: Collect and gather fallen wood debris and cut wood debris to fit in fire circle area -- FREE (several years supply of wood on land). Otherwise, firewood is available in large piles around the campground ($5.00/day -- unlimited use). Pay at the Registration / Check-In kiosk on front porch of Lodge House. Do NOT cut down live trees or branches from live trees. Go back to menu
Thanks, your contributions / fees at Abram's Creek Retreat and Campground will go directly towards improvements to the land and facilities which will include:
road improvements, gravel, and heavy equipment rental as needed
electric and lighting improvements
campsite developments
picnic tables and benches
campsite shelters with benches
cabins / tipi's
septic system
deep well for clean water supply
bath house with multiple hot showers / sinks / commodes (separate ladies / gentlemans)
outdoor showers
port-a-potty rentals
other land maintenance
permit fees, taxes, and other operational expenses
