The Magical Power of
the
Visionary
A Bridge Between the
Rational and Intuitive Selves
Dates: August 7th, 8th, and 9th at Abrams Creek Campground.
All cultures have had extraordinary people whose wisdom, vision, and love,
helped to: inspire, promote peace, and create character. People like:
Moses, Jesus, Buddha, the Dali Llama, and Mother Teressa.
We all have hidden in us the potential to become someone like this, an
Inner-Visionary.
In this new workshop, Andean Priest and Healer, Zane Curfman, will be
presenting the processes and teachings of the Andean Lloque
tradition. The emphasis here is on: Intuition, Perception, and Personal Development.
Itinerary
Day 1: Friday
Zane will present an over view of the Andean Tradition, with detailed
explanation of it’s 3
aspects, basic exercises, and activation of the student’s energy centers.
We begin our work with the Lloque tradition, by going
to Swallow Falls State Park (Oakland Md). A magnificent 37 acre ancient,
hemlock and white pine forest, with 4 waterfalls. Here we will
connect with the Salka (undomesticated energy) of the
land. Working with collective memory, awaking our
ability to connect with what came before, and use this information for what is
now and what will be.
Later this night we will meet around the campfire for a special Kutichi Ceremony. In this ceremony, we detach all the
seqes, or energy cords that connect us with others, our
past, and our insecurities so that we are "purely ourselves"; in a
state of stillness.
We will then form a drum circle and connect with each other through sound and
song.
Day 2: Saturday
Today, we start by working with teachings passed down by Don Melchor Deza. The transfer of power through water. There will be
discussion about Allies: ancestor, animal, and other
nature spirits that help us in our earth walk; the selection of personal allies.
After lunch, we begin in several moving exercises to connect with Qaway (the power of vision), Rimay
(the power of expression) and Kanay (the power of
self knowledge); using sound to deepen this connection.
After dinner we will meet around the campfire for a special sound healing/drum
circle.
Day 3: Sunday
On Sunday morning, we will begin to connect with Munay (the power of love), Khuyay
(the power of passion), Atiy (the power of impulse),
and the function of our personal roots. We will then awaken in several
deeply meaningful exercises: the creative force or light of nature in
ourselves; blending it with our essence. We will then discuss, explain
and reinforce, the meaning and uses of the different
kinds of power presented throughout the weekend.
