Tipi #1 Setting: Tipi #1 sits among heavy hemlock forest and boulders, on a high hill top overlooking the faster waters of Abram's Creek below.

Tipi #1 Features: Tipi #1 does include 4 elevated platforms best for sitting and congregating, an indoor stone lined firepit, a picnic table outside, an outside firepit complete with steel fire ring and two benches.

Intended Use: Tipi #1 is intended to be a congregation area only. It does not have an ozane to catch rain from the open top or a floor or wall liner. It is sitting on the earth with a small stone surrounded fire pit in the middle. It's intended use is for congregation while sitting around a small interior fire. Ample space outside of the tipi exists to put up a tent for sleeping arrangements. It is not recommended that you sleep in the tipi, esp. with the fire pit in the center or potential for rain, however, air mattresses are available (and a high capacity pump) if you wish to sleep in the tipi or bring your own.

Cautions:Large fires are not allowed in the tipi as the risk of catching the tipi on fire exists. Small, contained fires only. It is also not recommended that you sleep in the tipi due to rain / water issues and smoke / fire issues. Our advice is that you bring a tent and place it outside for sleeping.
Other: Tipi #1 does not have electricity or lighting -- bring your own lanterns, either propane or battery based, as well as flash lights.

Pets on leash okay at all campsites, cabins, and tipi's. Barking dogs during Quiet Hours (11:00pm - 8:00am) is not okay.

Campground Check-In Time: 3:00pm / Check-Out Time: 2:00pm

2 night minimum stay if Friday or Saturday night is sought (i.e. Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun required).

All dogs must be on a leash at all times

No generators allowed in the campground

No RV's over 22 feet (pop-up's, small pull trailers and pull boat trailers okay)

Firewood $5/wheel barrel load -- foraged firewood is free.

Please pick-up / carry out all trash and unload at our trash dumpster at the lodge house.

Please return fire pit benches and picnic tables to their proper locations. Thanks.

The campground Shower House is located just outside of the Lodge House in the red cargo building.

Tipi Details:
Tipi's are intended to provide meeting / congregation space, separate from tent sleeping quarters: elevated platforms provided for sitting.

What is included with Tipi #1:

4 elevated platforms are included. Air mattresses and / or pads are not provided and it is highly recommended that you sleep in a tent separate from the tipi, however, we can loan the air mattresses and a high capacity pump if you wish to sleep in the tipi.

Tipi's also include steel/stone fire ring and 2 benches outside.

What to Bring for Tipi #1:

a tent to sleep in, separate from the tipi.
heavy padding or air mattresses to sleep on
blankets / comforters and/or a sleeping bag and pillow.
Bring your own food / drinks and other non-included camping supplies.
Bring your own pots / pans / cooking utensils.
Bring your own paper plates / plastic utensils / paper towels / trash bags.
Bring your own source of light including propane or battery operated lanterns and flashlights.

Small fires only in the tipi -- keep upper smoke flaps open at all times that fire is burning.

Campground Registration / Self-Check-In On-Site:
at the Registration / Payment / Information Kiosk located on the front porch of the Lodge House.
Please register and pay (if not pre-paid) after choosing a campsite or upon arrival for cabin and tipi rentals, and sign Liability Waiver (click here).
Blank Liability Waiver forms available in the mailbox on Kiosk post and
payments and signed forms are dropped into secure mailbox on Kiosk post.

Firewood available for $5.00 per wheelbarrow load – please deposit payment into secure mailbox on Registration Kiosk.
Firewood piles available throughout campground – honor system. Foraging for firewood is free.
