Annual Coast to Coast Rt. 50 Yard Sale
The annual coast to coast Route 50 yard sale will be held May 15-17 this year. Please see the Route 50 Web Site for full details (click above). Hampshire & Grant Counties will be participating as always. Its a real treasure hunt and many stores and merchants will also offer special sales on this weekend. The Route 50 web site is maintained by Wulf Berg of Suffolk, VA and it includes a wealth of information about this amazing coast to coast highway. Route 50 begins in Ocean City, MD and ends at Sacramento, CA. Its 3011 miles long! Abram's Creek Campground sits right on Rt. 50.

Hike along the creek, go tubing, bring your kayak, swim in heated Mt. Storm Lake, visit nearby Swallow Falls, or Cathedral State Park, or Blackwater Falls...

Lodge House Bon-Fire & Cook-Out
Saturday & Sunday evenings - starting at 6:00pm -- In the backyard of the Lodge House
The Lodge House has a mega-wood-fired grill in the backyard and bon-fire pit. Bring your own dogs, burgers, buns, corn, chips, marshmallows, drinks... and share in a communal gathering. The grill will be hot by 6pm. Arrive early or late. We'll keep the grill and bon-fire going late. Lots of parking available. Weather permitting.

Bring your own dogs, burgers, marshmallows, drinks, and trash bags.

Abram's Creek will host fireworks displays by campground guests in the back yard of the Lodge House both Friday and Saturday nights starting at dark. Bring your own fireworks and bring a trash bag to pick up after yourself.
Please use fireworks only in large open areas such as lodge house backyard and main parking area near cabin #1 or up at Mt. Storm Lake parking lot due to fire dangers.
Do not use fireworks at campsites or in the woods.
Please Exercise Caution -- thanks.
